Tuesday November 3rd Michael Jesse (EP Release Show) w/ Berra, Astrid Lundberg \*\*\* Michael Jessey Vekstein, known by his stage name Michael Jesse, is a DC-based hyperpop artist with a rockin' backing band. Since 2021, he has accrued more than 9,000 YouTube subscribers from his music-topical video essays, some of which have garnered more than 100,000 views. His most-viewed videos include titles such as "The Tragic Story of the Biggest EDM Song of the 2000s" and "Why Nobody Knows the Chords to Linkin Park's Biggest Song". Having played in well-known DC band Professor Goldstein for 3 years, In 2024, he released his debut solo album Sonder, featuring shuffle-funk bops such as "Flame 2.0 and "Grind or Die". As a solo artist, he has performed at DC-area house venues such as Hice Mice, The Classroom, and Dinosaur World, as well as public venues like The Pocket and Pie Shop as a member of Professor Goldstein. In October 2026, Michael will be releasing his long-anticipated 3-song EP Alien; a record which contains dance-pop tracks "Alien" and "Want You to Stay", as well as the ethereal, introspective tune "Monday Calls". In 2022, she released her debut acoustic album Move it boy, making a splash in the DC music scene. Alongside her bandmates Tyler Mastromatteo, Andrew "Gibby" Gibson, and Lucas Matos, Djalleta has since released two more albums - Lover's Virginia (2025) and most recently Bull Rider (2026). In late 2026, she released singles "Billy", "Ouch", and "Gooner", all produced by bandmate Tyler Mastromatteo. Djalleta has performed as Berra at the DC9 club, Comet Ping Pong, and Songbyrd Music House, opening for renowned artists Wes Parker and Forager in the process. \*\*\* Astrid Lundberg is a pop-rock singer/songwriter and science educator based in Washington, DC. Her fun, short-form content videos discussing a range of scientific topics have garnered millions of views, earning her more than 82,000 YouTube subscribers and 690,000 Instagram followers. As a singer and songwriter, she has performed at DC venues As You Are and Dinosaur World, as well as performing at the 2025 Reston Pride Festival. On September 18th, 2026, Lundberg made her full-band debut at Artivism with her band which she dubs "The Pigeons". Her original music has been described as danceable and fun for the whole family!
