Description
Jamie Lenman appeared on the UK underground scene in the early 2000s as the singer, songwriter and guitarist for cult heroes Reuben, who toured relentlessly for eight years and delivered three critically acclaimed albums which are still shifting units today. After their implosion in 2008, Lenman took a sabbatical from music to work as a designer for The Guardian in London, before returning suddenly in 2013 with a double album of thrash and jazz.
Throughout the next decade, Lenman would continue to tour as a solo act and released a string of equally successful albums under his own name before taking early retirement from the record industry to concentrate on modelling, acting and cabaret. As of early 2026 however, he has been making sporadic live appearances, including an appearance at ArcTanGent Festival shortly after the Bandcamp-only release of his latest album PUKE.
