**Becky Shaw with her Full Band - CD Release Show for Cast Off the Lines!** Becky Shaw has always been the kid who wants to try everything—and she's spent her entire adult life making good on that promise. Now with her sophomore solo album due out in October 2026, she’s doing what she loves most: connecting with audiences through her songs. The Decatur, Georgia-based singer-songwriter didn't just learn to play one or two instruments and call it a day. Over the years, she's picked up guitar, drums, flute, harmonica, lap steel, accordion, ukulele, piano… A couple years ago she started tackling jazz standards with her friend Allen Broyles. For the past two decades she's fronted 70s disco cover band, the Susi French Connection, and recorded and performed as a singer/songwriter in the Americana group Just Roxie/Roxie Watson. Her resume reads like a who's who of Americana music: she’s shared stages with the Indigo Girls, Caroline Herring, Suzy Bogguss and Shawn Mullins; performed on stages from The Bluebird Café to Eddie's Attic, CBGB's to the Royal Room in Seattle. But it's Shaw's solo singer-songwriter work that reveals the full depth of her artistry. Her songs are informed by Folk, Old Country, Americana, Rock, and even Classical music, but they're never derivative—Shaw has a voice that's entirely her own. She writes about connection, belonging, love, and loss with the kind of honesty that makes strangers feel like confidants.
