This lineup traces a single lineage of Black music across many cities, countries, and continents : New York, Detroit, West Africa, Brazil, and more each carrying its own dialect of house and club music back to the same root. The Collective Black Groove is a Brooklyn-born collective bridging New York, Alabama, the Caribbean, Africa,Brazil , and other places of the Diaspora through sound.
