Riot Grrrl's Not Dead DC! ft. Cat Crash, Buko Buko, Ammonite, Bitter Tits

Cat Crash is a punk band from NYC/CT/NJ/MA and we have nine lives. We blend 90s riot grrrl, 2000s pop punk, and 2010s midwest emo, touring across several states and opening for bands such as Skating Polly, Pinkshift, VIAL. We are all-trans and Asian-fronted and committed to uplifting and supporting people of color, queer people, and femme people.

DC-based BUKO BUKO is a happy punk band born out of boredom from sad, soggy, serious punk music and fueled by Riot Grrrl and mean mommy energy. BUKO BUKO live shows are an experience to laugh, dance, and mosh. They don bright colors and cheap wigs, feed fans gummy worms, and get the crowd moshing to songs like “Spaghetti Time.” BUKO BUKO’s debut album, titled All You Can Eat, was released as a labor of love (literally) to "bring feral joy to the mosh pit," as Washington Post writes. Their song topics range from food metaphors to immigrant manifestos and they're known for their banter and crazy dance moves. BUKO BUKO means “young coconut” in Tagalog and is a nod to the singer’s half-Filipino heritage.

Like heartland folk with a switchblade in its boot, Ammonite comes out swinging. Sweeping audiences away on a musical adventure marked with rolling emotional hills and lyrical revelations. The trio offers up Queer Americana for people who grew up on punk. Delivered with tension, dynamic, and outstanding vocals and guitar from the couple at the heart of the group - Erin Frisby (they, them) and Selena Benally (she, her), Ammonite is a full band explosion of something memorable, sometimes visceral, vulnerable, and cathartic. It's virtuosic songwriting and playing that still manages to capture all of the thrill and spontaneity of a basement show.

Bitter Tits is a punk rock duo based out of Baltimore and we play punk rock, we sing the stories of our lives and apologize for nothing the world is what made us who we are. We’re here to help you get by, we’re to help you forget, we’re here to help you remember, and we’re here to party with the masses.
