Slings & Arrows presents: NIGHT OF THE WITCH The familiar chill of autumn is rolling in again, and something sinister is following closely behind it. You can almost catch a glimmer from the corner of your eye. Is that what you think it is? Spirits? Apparitions? No, it’s witches, dressed in skin-tight latex. The witches are out of the broom closet, and they’re descending upon Transmission to invite all of those of dark persuasions to join in their chant, to fuel their magic and forsake their inhibitions to the tune of villainous, thundering beats. DJ Vampyre Noire (aptly named, black vampire) leads the coven and summons forth two hauntingly goreous ghouls to accompany her in her mission to dissipate the veil between the undead disco and the unsuspecting clubgoer. Her noise is vicious, fierce, and violent enough to pry your black heart open once again. DJ Babie Spookie seeks to shake you by the bones and reinvigorate your aching spirit. A true force of nature that branches the gap between electric and downright spooky. DJ Clubstrange promises to deliver exactly that. A strange club, filled with spectral and curious sounds. You can’t quite place it, but before long, you’re entranced. In addition to the sounds, we will feature a curated collection of vendors, tarot and astrology readers, and opulent go-go dancers to keep you on your toes. We will also be hosting a contest for best-dressed.
