Description
Indiana DJs, Space Bunz, Pook, and 5LAPHOUSE reunite at Jupiter Disco for a happy hour celebrating years of collaboration through Club Plex and a shared devotion to Black dance music and the liberatory power of the dance floor.
Space Bunz is a multidisciplinary artist, DJ, and ethnomusicologist from rural
Indiana, now based in NYC. Drawing from seven years as an open-format DJ, she explores the dance floor as a site of embodied ritual, crafting genre-spanning sets that cultivate moments of collective transcendence.
Pook (@pook.vs) is an Indianapolis-based event producer and 7+ year DJ Hobbyist,
best known for his longtime organizer role at Club Plex and passion for sharing the various
sounds of dance music rooted in Black expression to both familiar and fresh ears.
5LAP formally known as 5LAPHOUSE is more than a DJ, he’s a cultural architect shaping the sound, energy, and creative freedom of Indianapolis nightlife. Seamlessly blending House Music, Hip Hop, Dance Hall, and Techno (all black music): The Club Cunt (@club.cuuunt ) creator/curator & Club Plex (@club.plex) resident Born Elgin Reese II, is an Indianapolis based DJ, producer, and creative entrepreneur who has quickly become one of the city’s most recognizable figures in underground house music and queer nightlife in the Midwest. DJ-ing in cities like Chicago, Cincinnati, NYC, and LA Known for his fearless personality, high energy sets, and community first mindset, 5LAP has built a reputation for turning dance floors into spaces of liberation, expression, and culture!
