Aug 22 // Bodyshop returns for one special night. For over a decade, the raw industrial space on Geary Avenue known as Bodyshop played host to some of Toronto’s most memorable nights. While the venue has long since closed its doors, its custom-built sound system has continued to live at Rhythm, where this special edition will take place. Our guest for the evening is Amsterdam’s Dimi Angelis. Active in the Dutch techno scene since the late 1990s, his productions have appeared on Jeff Mills’ Axis Records, MORD, Dekmantel, Warm Up Recordings and his own ANGLS imprint, forming a body of work that now spans more than two decades. What we can tell you is that this will be Dimi Angelis’ Toronto debut on the original Bodyshop sound system. For one night, the story continues.
