DARK DANCE BALL TWO Alien Sex Friends began in 2021 at MITSUKI in Dogenzaka, Shibuya, at the dawn of a new era in Tokyo’s club culture. Club dancers and music lovers gathered around a single dancefloor and a DJ booth shared by a minimal roster of players. With a clear yet mad commitment to the quality of the party above all else, Alien Sex Friends has spent the past six years creating intense nights with audiences spanning generations and personalities. Since 2025, the crew has been hosting its own club event, A.S.F., at WOMB, the largest venue in its home territory. Having completed its first three editions—the “Domestic Trilogy,” focused on Japanese DJs—A.S.F. launches its “International Trilogy” this September 2026. The first guest is Kino, one of the finest DJs to emerge from Uruguay’s techno scene. Originally from Uruguay and now based in Berlin, Kino sharpened his craft as a resident DJ at Montevideo’s legendary Phonotheque, alongside some of the scene’s most formidable talents, including Nicolas Lutz, DJ Koolt, Z@p, and Nico Etorena. While touring extensively as a DJ throughout Europe and beyond, he launched the new label In.Visible Recordings in July 2026 together with fellow Phonotheque affiliate Manuel Jelen. Uruguayan techno began gaining wider recognition in the mid-2010s and has since had a major influence on the post-minimal techno and house landscape. Drawing on early European rave techno and Detroit electro while translating those influences into something more vivid and suited to darker dancefloors, the sound has developed a distinctive identity of its own. Kino incorporates these elements into his sets, but with an even more disciplined and deep approach to selection. Solid, groove-heavy cuts from ’90s hard techno sit alongside trippy tracks from the click house of the 2000s, with finely chosen discoveries from his own digging woven throughout. The result cannot simply be reduced to “minimal”: his sets occupy a unique space where pleasure and tension constantly intersect. His precision in mixing and pitch control, combined with an exceptional instinct for reading the flow of a dancefloor, makes him a DJ whose true strength comes through in extended sets—the kind of selector you want to follow wherever he takes you. The A.S.F. crew had been hoping to bring Kino to Japan since before the pandemic, making offers in both 2024 and 2025. The reason is simple: Kino continues to exceed expectations as a DJ. On 2F, A.S.F.’s P-yan and Ryokei return alongside sound engineer Ryosuke Tsuchiya and spatial design team REALROCKDESIGN. Together, they promise another high-quality combination of sound and visuals that moves freely across the boundaries between the mainstream and underground. On 4F, MAA and KEIICHI EJIMA take control. MAA is a DJ who has followed underground minimal techno from its rise through its establishment and continued evolution, while also contributing as a designer to numerous music projects, including CABARET RECORDINGS. KEIICHI EJIMA is best known as the drummer behind the groove of sakanaction, while also pursuing his own refined approach to DJing centered around minimal house. Bringing the mood of their party dotREC to WOMB, the pair will create a deeper, more intricate sonic space than anywhere else in the building. On 1F, the new-generation party Ready or Not, dedicated to exploring dancefloor-focused music evolving out of minimal, takes over. Resident DJ Sht is joined by Karuta, the skilled selector behind MITSUKI’s regular party Freaky Fusion. Also joining them is Ildec, a key figure behind the rising Spanish label and party Time To Panic Records. As a producer, he has released music on notable labels including SEQUALOG and Better Sound. Expect his signature solid and powerful selections shaped by influences from US electro and progressive house. *Advance ticket sales close at 8PM on the day of the event. *¥1500 off door tickets for 23 & under. 暗黒舞踏会2 Dark Dance Ball Two 東京・渋谷・道玄坂クラブカルチャーの新たな黎明期、2021年に翠月-MITSUKI-でスタートした Alien Sex Friends。クラブ・ダンサーとミュージック・ラバーたちが集うのは、1つのダンスフロアと最小限のプレイヤーが行き交う DJ ブース － 明快かつマッドにパーティの品質を追求する姿勢で、幅広い年代・個性のオーディエンスたちと強烈な夜を繰り広げて気づけば6年。2025年からはホームエリアで最も大きな規模を持つ WOMB にて A.S.F.と題した主催クラブ・イベントを開催。 「ドメスティック3部作」として日本人 DJ に焦点を当てた過去3回を終え、26年9月開催の今回からは、「インターナショナル3部作」をスタート。まずはウルグアイのテクノシーンが産んだ至高の DJ Kino を招致する。 ウルグアイ出身ベルリン在住の Kino は、モンテビデオの伝説的クラブ Phonoteque のレジデント DJ として、シーンの旗手 Nicolas Lutz や DJ Koolt、Z@p、Nico Etorena などの圧倒的な才能と鎬を削ってきた。DJ としてヨーロッパを中心に世界各国を巡りつつ、26年7月には Phonoteque 所属の盟友 Manuel Jelen と共に新レーベル In.Visible Recordings を始動した。 2010年代半ばから頭角を表したウルグアイ産のテクノは、ミニマル以降のテクノ・ハウスシーンに多大な影響を与え続けている。欧州のレイヴィーな初期テクノやデトロイトのエレクトロからの影響を感じさせつつ、より暗黒のフロアに映えるようビビッドに表現したようなサウンドが特徴的だ。 Kino ももちろん上記のテイストを取り入れているが、よりストイックでディープな選曲を持ち味としている。90年代の骨太なハードテクノの中でもソリッドでグルーヴィーな盤や、00年代のクリックハウスの中でもトリッピーな展開を有する楽曲など、独自のディグで見つけ出した絶妙なトラックを取り入れ、所謂ミニマルという形容で一括りにできない、快楽性と緊張感が交錯する唯一無二のセットを表現する。ミックスやピッチコントロールの正確さとフロアの流れを読む感覚も抜きん出ているため、ロングセットで真価を発揮するタイプの、どこまでも着いていきたくなるような頼もしい DJ である。 A.S.F.クルーがコロナ禍の前から来日を熱望し続け、2024年・2025年と連続してオファーしているのも、やはり Kino が DJ として期待を超え続けているからだ。A.S.F.RECS の soundcloud から発表したミックスからもその一端を伺うことができるので、このパーティーに備えてぜひチェックしていただきたい。 2F では A.S.F.の P-yan と Ryokei に加え、サウンド・エンジニアの Ryosuke Tsuchiya と空間演出チーム REALROCKDESIGN も前回に引き続き参加。メジャーとアンダーグラウンドの境界を超えた最高品質のサウンド・ビジュアルに期待が高まる。 4F はアンダーグラウンドなミニマルテクノシーンを隆盛から定着、発展までを追い続けてきた DJ であり、CABARET RECORDINGS をはじめとした数多くの音楽作品にデザイナーとして携わってきた MAA と、Sakanaction のグルーヴを担うドラマーとして知られ、ミニマルハウスを主軸とした渋好みな DJ としても活動する KEIICHI EJIMA が担当する。彼らが主催するパーティー dotREC のムードを持ち込んだ、他のフロアよりも一層ディープで緻密なサウンドを楽しめるだろう。 1F はミニマルから発展したフロアユースなダンスミュージックを追求する新世代パーティー Ready or Not がオーガナイズ。レジデント DJ の Sht と、Mitsuki のレギュラーパーティー Freaky Fusion を主催する実力派 Karuta が DJ を務める。さらにスペインの要注目レーベル兼パーティー Time To Panic Records の中心人物であり、プロデューサーとしても SEQUALOG、Better Sound など注目レーベルから作品を発表している Ildec も参戦。彼が得意とする、USエレクトロやプログレッシブハウスを通過したソリッドかつパワフルな選曲を期待できそうだ。 *前売券販売はイベント当日の8PMまで *23歳以下当日入場料¥1500オフ DOOR: ¥3500 *UNDER23 ¥2000 ADVANCE TICKETS: ¥2500 (+Handling Fee)
