CLOCKWISE is motion that trusts the pattern;
CLOCKWISE is returning through change;
CLOCKWISE is a ritual of repetition with consequences;
CLOCKWISE is turning forward by appearing to come back
CLOCKWISE is a night of TRIP HOP + DOWNTEMPO by Brooklyn-based label Youngbloods
With over 50 releases since 2014, Youngbloods' meditation on the full breadth of downtempo sounds expands to the club with the revival of CLOCKWISE. Originally a 2018 limited series at Jupiter Disco with Blockhead and FaltyDL, we return with special guests EscaFlowne and Adder (Birthday DJ Set), along with new resident datadata.
SPECIAL GUESTS:
EscaFlowne is a prolific producer known for kinetic dance music that draws upon every form of electronic music. Yet their 2025 album, CLOUDS, set out to slow things down and breathe a little deeper.
Adder is the latest project from Ryan Glassman, combining his delicate voice-driven pop sensibilities with complex yet spacious synthscapes. His latest single, GFN, illustrates that perfectly
RESIDENTS:
datadata is eclectic. With foundations in indie rock bands, the producer/DJ/engineer can gracefully match any tone, any vibe. After going toe2toe with lostverb b2b on The Lot Radio, further collaboration was mandated
lostverb launched Youngbloods in 2014 with his friend John Moses after 6 years of working in dance music. Since 2019 he has hosted a monthly freeform morning show on The Lot Radio that, like the label, explores ambient, jazz, trip-hop, and all downtempo sounds.
__________
Jupiter Disco is a safe space for all. Our most important goal is to ensure everyone who steps into our space feels welcome and safe. In order to achieve this goal, it's mission critical that everyone approaches each other with respect. That means everyone.
We are passionate about bringing people together and building connections between participants in and adjacent to our community. Go ahead and say hi to someone new while you're here with us!
If you see or experience anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, please alert one of our team members and we will coordinate a resolution immediately.
We encourage everyone to be present and interface with the physical elements around you while you're with us, so we ask that you please limit your phone use throughout the space.
Phone screen and camera lights can also be distracting, so please be mindful of the brightness and the length of time you use those lights, if at all.
If you intend to smoke (anything), please take a break outside and take a few steps down the block. Don't worry, we always have re-entry.
