Bad NervesGENRE: Garage Punk, Power Pop
Spotify | Apple Music | Youtube | Website
The bastard child of a Ramones/Strokes one night stand, Bad Nerves play ferociously fast distorted pop songs. Their self-made debut and second album Still Nervous put them in the hearts and minds of the cream of the alternative crop; including rock legends such as Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard, and Iggy Pop. Drawing comparisons to Supergrass, The Hives and Jay Reatard, they proactively seek to make the type of in-your-face, infectious rock music that the genre was built on. After a whirlwind three years, going from playing tiny sweaty rooms, to commanding stadium audiences, Bad Nerves has deservedly enamoured new fans across the world with their captivating 200mph live shows. Emerging as one of rock’n’roll’s most electrifying new exports, the band is currently working on their much anticipated third album.
The Death Chat
GENRE: Alternative
Spotify | Apple Music | Youtube
The Death Chat is a project started by Jakob Armstrong. The music is rooted in his love for melodic punk rock from the likes of the Marked Men, Guided By Voices, and Radioactivity. The songs also pull influence from the early records of The Cure such as Seventeen Seconds and Faith.
The band features members from Ultra Q, Willowake, and Wayword.
