**Ben Kenney live at Eddie's Attic!** Ben Kenney is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer best known as the bassist in Incubus and guitarist in The Roots, where he played alongside Questlove, Kamal Gray, and Black Thought. His forward-thinking blend of alternative rock, metal, and hip hop has made him a powerful presence across multiple corners of the music scene. Early in his career, Ben got his start in the New Jersey-based band Racecar in 1994, joined The Roots in 2000, and later joined Incubus in 2003, helping write several records and touring internationally with the award-winning group. A high-caliber multi-instrumentalist, Ben has worked in the studio alongside Justin Timberlake, Faith Evans, Erykah Badu, and Blackalicious, as well as producers Timbaland and DJ Jazzy Jeff. He has released five solo albums, writing and playing everything including guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. He is also currently involved with One Take Theater, a collaboration with bassist Ashley Mendel and drummer Daniel Gallardo, performing live one-take covers of songs by Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, and Luther Vandross.
