Based at SHIBUYA R LOUNGE, FEEDER continues to showcase underground techno culture by connecting influential artists from Japan and around the world. This special edition welcomes KEN ISHII, one of Japan’s most internationally recognized techno artists, known as the “Techno God from the East.” Since his debut on Belgium’s legendary R&S Records in 1993, KEN ISHII has become a leading figure in global techno. His iconic track “Extra” gained worldwide recognition, with its music video winning MTV Europe’s “Dance Video of the Year” in 1996. He has performed at major festivals and clubs worldwide, including Tomorrowland, and continues to represent Japan’s techno scene on the global stage. The 2nd guest is Seiji Matsumoto, drummer of Japanese rock band the telephones, who has performed at major venues including Nippon Budokan and Saitama Super Arena, as well as festivals such as Fuji Rock Festival and Summer Sonic. As a DJ, he explores a wide range of sounds from rock and new wave to disco, house, and techno. Nobuharu Morimoto, whose releases on European techno labels have received support from artists such as Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, and Ramon Tapia, joins Ree for a special B2B performance. KAORI WATT × TAICHOU will present a hybrid set combining digital and vinyl, alongside performances from HATO-BUS × Amélie, landman × NANAME, and KAZUYA × MO€chi. The night will also feature visual performances by VJs oriko and Uika, with tarot readings by ALKA, creating an immersive experience beyond music.
