Description
Heavy Waste is back at Bossa, and we’re very excited to be joined by the one and only Ron Like Hell.
Approaching a dj mix as assemblages, Ron Like Hell aligns sound with emotion, focusing on texture to create psychedelic soundscapes, imaginative spaces for comfort and surprise spectators with an unexpected crafty transition. With 26+ years of making people dance in numerous countries along with years of vinyl shop experience and music promotion, his/their role in the industry is unique and influential. Ron Like Hell provides eclectic sets venturing into obscure international sounds, Techno, Synth, House, Acid and Disco which are appreciated by some of the most discerning dance floor enthusiasts.
Erik Braun provides opening duties. With a background in percussion, and ongoing explorations of modular synthesis, he’s drawn to a track selection that heavily feature tight grooves, abstract textures, and hypnotic tones.
Tonyy & Skoglund go back to back to close out the night. Tonyy is a techno producer and DJ out of Brooklyn, New York. Obsessed with merging asynchronous signals with driving dance floor pressure, Tonyy moves to bridge the gap between the mental and rhythmic. With releases on Edit Select, Voidware, and Rhod Records, his catalogue continues to grow. Skoglund’s sound and sets explore long-form transitions, atmosphere, and subtle movement through heavy, raw, and hypnotic elements. His debut EP “In Mother’s Hands” is out now on Nul Records (NYC), and recently featured on Scordisci.
