Description
We look forward to welcoming Wooden Spoon Herbs founder Lauren Haynes for a gathering rooted in plant-based ritual, food, and drink.
Inspired by late-summer traditions and the spirit of Lammas, the experience draws on themes of abundance, nourishment, and seasonal transition. Guided by Lauren's intuitive approach to herbalism, plant magic comes to life through a menu shaped by what is growing now, at its peak.
Lauren joins us for a two-day pop-up from July 31–August 1, culminating in a conversation and Q&A on August 1 in The Garden.
Moderated by longtime Public Records friend Meredith Graves, the discussion will explore bioregionalism, plant communication, and Appalachian plant folklore. The gathering will also include a guided plant meditation, and attendees will leave with practical ways to recognize and connect with at least three medicinal plants that can be found on nearly any city block.
To attend the Q&A, tickets are available here on Dice. To experience the accompanying menu pop-up, reserve a table via Resy.
Presented by Public Records.
