UK-based DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Lawrence Hart has developed a sound that ranges from vulnerable to raw, positioning his music somewhere between Burial’s R&B samples and the euphoria of Fred Again. His debut LP, Come In Out Of The Rain, introduced him to a wider audience, and he has also provided remixes for artists including Foals, Will Clarke, and Black Box, as well as collaborated with fellow musicians George Fitzgerald and Alan Fitzpatrick. Lawrence Hart’s live show showcases the depth of his studio productions, which he reactivates and manipulates in real time. He plays the trumpet, routing the sound through a modular synthesizer, and gradually adds layers of synthesizers.
