Introducing our second edition of Moving House Forward: Designing Your Musical Identity in New York, a 1 on 1 conversation with Gqom Pioneer and Co-Headliner of our 4 Years of DESCENDANTS show, DJ Lag taking place Upstairs at Public Records. This is an extremely limited capacity experience where we'll take a deep dive into the mind of one of the most innovative Electronic Music artists of our time. We ask all attendees to enter the venue NO LATER THAN 7:30PM to avoid any interruptions. Upstairs at Public Records is an intimate listening room with a custom cocktail menu. Sounds will be provided before and after the talk. He will be in conversation with DESCENDANTS Founder/Curator Meedy, exploring the inception & history of Gqom, and what makes Durban an epicenter for African Electronic innovation. We’ll also get a glimpse into his musical process on a technical level.
