Formed with the vision of elevating and expanding the reach of modern jazz, the group brings an intensity and rhythmic energy that resonates with audiences across stages and generations. The ensemble plays with a unified intention: to serve the music with honesty and soul, and to move the people listening, no matter who they are or where they come from. Born in Miami, Florida, Haitian-American saxophonist Claudens Louis is the visionary force behind The CieL Experience. Claudens brings a unique blend of cultural richness, technical mastery, and soulful storytelling to every stage he steps on. His performance résumé spans continents, sharing stages with global icons including Shaun Martin of Snarky Puppy, Victor Wooten, Jason Derulo, Wyclef Jean, Stefon Harris, Sarah Reich (Postmodern Jukebox), and Prince’s MonoNeon. Outside of the spotlight, Claudens is equally committed to nurturing the next generation of artists. He serves as Jazz Director at Miami Arts Charter School and regularly leads masterclasses and clinics at universities and music programs worldwide. Presented by Eddie's Attic.
