The members later reconvened in San Francisco, where the project rose to prominence in the Bay Area music scene, eventually gaining wider attention with the release of their debut record’s 'Gutter Girl' music video, which made its way to the front page of Reddit and catapulted the group to the international stage. Since then HFHW has created a dynamic and diverse soundscape with multiple records and EPs that have solidified them as a well known name in modern indie music. New album, Butterfly in a Landslide, was just released in June 2026. San Francisco’s Starzdust emerged onto the local grunge and DIY rock scene in late 2023. Led by vocalist and guitarist Natalia, the band has carved out a sound that’s both gritty and melodic, merging elements of punk, grunge, and pure rock n roll. Starzdust’s rise reflects the energy of a new wave rock scene: unapologetic, female-driven, and fiercely independent. Beyond fronting the band, Natalia is also the founder of Rose Blood Festival, a femme-fronted showcase that sold out its debut event and spotlighted some of the most exciting new voices in alternative music. With growing recognition from platforms like Bandcamp, Starzdust is currently opening for bigger acts in the punk rock world such as Niis, Waax, ChokeCherry, Sludgemother, Alex Vile and Frankie and the Witch Fingers. They are currently working on their first big music project, a full length EP set to release at the end of 2026.
