His sound is as eclectic as his collaborators, but the vibe is desert disco. Zeke blends his love of the western wear and vintage Americana with pure dance floor euphoria. A classically-trained cellist, Zeke started making his own music while studying neuroscience and philosophy at the University of Virginia. These days, he lives in a 1971 Airstream in Topanga Canyon and records in a converted tool shed overlooking the canyon. Friends Of's debut album "Contemporary Cowboys of the Canyon" is due out next year.
