FEIYI grew up in and is based in Shanghai. In 2019, she established FinderShanghai, a multicultural label that has hosted countless electronic music events across China's diverse music scene and elevated the brand to international stages. She is also a resident DJ at Shanghai’s premier underground club, Heim. Exploring the deep connection between music and perception, FEIYI excels at merging a wide array of genres—including Bass, Dub, Indie Dance, Electronica, Tribal, and Techno. By constantly arranging and combining these distinct elements, she creates a delicate, evolving atmosphere that seamlessly captivates the mood of the dance floor. FEIYI completed a highly successful European tour in September 2025, performing at iconic venues such as Tresor, Kwia, and Giri in Berlin, Petit Bain in Paris, Kiosk Radio in Brussels, and Comédie de Genève. She also completed her third tour of Japan in July 2025. Domestically, her sound has resonated across China’s top clubs, including SYSTEM, Heim, and Exit in Shanghai, OIL in Shenzhen, and Groundless in Beijing. Her guest mixes have been featured on global online radio stations such as Kiosk Radio (Brussels), Room303 (Japan), and byyb.live (Shanghai). Under her direction, FinderShanghai has expanded its footprint beyond major domestic events to international music spaces, including Kwia in Berlin, WWW, Forestlimit, and SPACE in Tokyo, and Trans-Pecos in New York. Over the years, she has hosted and collaborated with a diverse roster of outstanding international artists—such as BYETONE, CONCEPTUAL, NAOMIE KLAUS, SCSI-9, and Space Dimension Controller—organizing curated 'FinderShanghai' showcase parties to present their tours in China. By bridging multiple artistic fields, FEIYI continuously expands the boundaries of the electronic music scene to deliver a truly multi-dimensional, sensory party experience Wandering across mist and radiance, chaos and clarity at a shifting pace. Rooted in the psychedelic music scene, charlieowo has since ventured into a wide spectrum of four-on-the-floor, bass and downtempo music that transcends genre boundaries. Various textures and drum patterns are seamlessly woven into her soundscapes. With the belief that electronic music is not confined to the late-night dancefloor, she launched Neural Spiral to explore its many facets. Grounded in the relationship between sound, gathering, and the body, the project aims to tickle the listeners’ nerves through different frequencies and experiences.
