Giammarco Orsini, born in Italy and now based in Berlin, has subtly evolved into one of the most respected DJs and producers, inspired by a blend of House, Techno, Electro, and Progressive elements that allow him to move through various musical styles and moods, creating sets where transitions are felt rather than just heard. Driven by a deep-rooted passion for digging and exploration, his selections span decades and genres alike, always carrying a record bag full of elegant groovers that have left an indelible mark on dancefloors worldwide, including at venues like Panorama Bar and fabric. For Giammarco, connection is the essence of deejaying – connection between records, connection between people – and the same curiosity and drive that fill his crates inspire the distinctive sound of his productions, with a discography punctuated by noteworthy releases on esteemed labels such as Craigie Knowes, Mood Waves, and Shonky’s Stoned Pilot. Further collaborating with like-minded artists, he co-founded Data Memory Access, a vibrant musical duo and record label known for its dynamic live performances and innovative productions, and he eagerly anticipates yet another eventful year marked by a number of exciting releases and a busy touring schedule. What started with drumming shampoo bottles using his toothbrush as a kid, has evolved into dropping warm and adventurous grooves as a DJ. Vence is on a constant expedition to dig up new vibrations, revealing his devotion to spark dancefloor euphoria. As co-founder of VG+ he is rapidly gaining traction across Asia, while connecting music lovers with the art of vinyl djing. Growing up in The Hague on the coast of the Netherlands, Vence was exploring dancefloors and collecting music as a youngling well before he took up DJing. Casually easing into mixing in his early 20s. In 2017 he moved to North Africa, where he quickly became part of the vibrant Tunisian music scene, playing for many clubs and events such as‘ Wax Bar’, ‘Yuka’, ‘Habibi’ as well as the influential ‘Downtown Vibes’ collective and the mesmerising Tunisian ‘Woodstock festival’. Halfway through 2021 Vence moved to Hong Kong. Quickly becoming a regular performer in Hong Kong clubs like OMA, Acadana and leading underground institution 宀 club. In the latter, his sound has been able to mature and evolve, sharing the stage with the likes of Jason Kendig, Rey Colino and Quest. In September 2023 Vence started VG+ together with Sunsiaré. a vinyl-centric club night, online record store, community, media channel and more with a fresh approach for showcasing everlasting club music.
