**Amelia Day live at Eddie's Attic w/ Alana Cruz!**
It took a world-shaking breakup for Amelia Day to find her true sound — and herself.
"I knew you then, before all of this…but you left me for your ego trip," she sings to her ex-girlfriend on "Ego Trip," the title track from her newest EP. Stacked high with alt-rock guitars, pop hooks, and swooning keyboards, the song is more than a genre-bending kiss-off to a no-good lover; it's also a reminder that true artists remember where they came from, honoring their roots instead of chasing after trends.
Raised in Sumner, Washington on everything from Simon & Garfunkel to Queen to Alanis Morissette, Amelia built a national audience on her own terms — refusing to narrow her sound for anyone. A cross-country move to Nashville deepened her storytelling chops, and before long her open-mic nights had given way to sold-out shows from Seattle to Boston and high-profile slots at Bumbershoot, Capitol Hill Block Party, and Seattle PrideFest.
Then came the road trip that changed everything. A 2,500-mile journey with her longtime partner ended in a sudden, heartbreaking split — and out of that loss came EGO TRIP. Co-produced by Amelia herself, the record channels the raw energy of her favorite '90s frontwomen into something entirely her own: direct, emotionally honest, and impossible to categorize. "It felt more adult, more rock-based, and more tied to the strong, powerful, wise women who've always said what they wanted to, without holding their tongues."
EGO TRIP reintroduces Amelia Day as a sharp-eyed songwriter, singer, co-producer, and multi-instrumentalist who sounds like no one but herself. For Amelia Day, the trip continues.

Alana Cruz is a singer-songwriter originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. From age 7, she took singing lessons and joined Acapop! KIDS, an all-kids a cappella group created by Pentatonix's Scott Hoying. Now 16, she frequents Music City's legendary writer's rounds, performing on piano and guitar with a catalog of over 100 original songs to her name.
Signed to EMPIRE, Alana carries the raw emotional depth of Amy Winehouse, the confessional songwriting of Olivia Dean, and the cinematic pull of Lana Del Rey — a distinctly pop sound, deeply felt and mature far beyond her years. She has already written with Tayla Parx, Nick Lobel, Kelly Sheehan, KTLN, Dom Martinez, Johnny Black, Tony Esterly, CJ Oliver, Nicole Beaubien, David Kerckhoff, Gigi & Hallie, Brandin Day, Amy Stroup, Khal Yassein, and Josie Dunne.
"In writing and singing my own songs, I hope you can find pieces of yourself in my lyrics and melodies — not just as you are now, but how you imagine and want yourself to be."
Presented by Eddie's Attic.
This is an all ages event.
