Description
**Lucy Kaplansky live at Eddie's Attic!**
Lucy Kaplansky is an eminent singer-songwriter whose musical life stretches from the legendary Greenwich Village folk scene of the late 1970s to major venues and recording studios across the US and Europe. She moved to New York City at 18 to be a folksinger and quickly became part of an extraordinary community centered around Folk City — rubbing shoulders with Dave Van Ronk, Odetta, Lucinda Williams, and introducing Suzanne Vega to the scene, all while forging lasting friendships with collaborators like Shawn Colvin and Richard Shindell. Her voice is her signature — astonishingly versatile across jazz, bluegrass, folk, country, and pop — and her ten solo albums reflect the full combustion of that remarkable era and the decades of artistry that followed. One of American roots music's most respected and enduring voices, Lucy Kaplansky is a singer who has only deepened with time.
Presented by Eddie's Attic.
This is an all ages event.
