As a boy ricocheting between Texas, Louisiana and Alabama, developing a nomadic spirit was natural for LeBlanc. A dynamic upbringing led him to feel at home on the precipice, a feeling that underpins his latest album, ‘Coyote,’ a semi-autobiographical concept album centered around the captivating character of Coyote, a man on the run from a troubled past. Tracks such as the soaring ballad “No Promises Broken” and the dark sincerity of “Wicked Kind” weave Coyote’s experiences with LeBlanc’s, navigating through strife, luck and finding peace.
