This month we will be featuring the important sounds coming from Colombia. From Cumbia Colombiana y salsa picante de la costa to the high energy vibrant rhythms of Champeta caribeña and electronic sounds being played in the streets of Colombia. Ruido Selecto is a musician, producer, and sound engineer from Medellín, Colombia. His music has focused on Caribbean rhythms such as Cumbia, Salsa, Electronic Dub, and Afro-diasporic styles that have traditionally reached Colombia through the Picó Sound system culture. Ruido will be performing his Caribbean Bass/digital cumbia live set through synths and drum machines. Sidney Looper is the DJ alias of Animaleja, Medellín-based composer and producer whose approach fuses the rhythmic richness of the Caribbean diaspora with the aesthetics and production of alternative urban music. Sidney Looper will be alongside Stephany and DJ Los on the decks keeping the dance floor lit for the night. Presented by Third Man Events. This is a 21+ event
