With an impressive two decades of experience under his belt, Honeycomb has honed his craft to a level of virtuosity that has garnered widespread recognition. In recent years, Honeycomb’s musical journey has been punctuated by invaluable endorsements and collaborations with some of the industry’s most illustrious figures. What began as producer/keyboardist 5AM’s vision to merge high-fidelity electronic sound design with the spontaneity of a band has evolved into a powerhouse ensemble featuring the dextrous drumming of Aaron Harel (ZONE Drums) and the guitar wizardry of Keith Wadsworth (Wax Future). Their shows hit with club-level sonic precision while delivering the fire and interplay of a full-on jam session. EasyJack (Chicago, IL) Easyjack is the musical platform and alias of Jack Whelan. Based out of Chicago, Illinois, Whelan is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and live engineer who’s talents meet at the nexus of electronic music. Pushing the boundaries of rhythm and tempo, Easyjack live performances bring together a multitude of dynamics and motifs in an emotional and frenetic experience. Coming into adulthood in Chicago’s underground music scene, Whelan’s personal musicality is deeply influenced by soulful house and rugged hip-hop alike, unifying his sonic hemisphere through break-beat fundamentals. The Easyjack catalog ranges from four-on-the-floor anthems to glitched-out, swampy breakdowns. As the co-owner and lead engineer of Sound System Cultures, Whelan is also uniquely influenced by his experience operating high-fidelity sound systems. Translating that love of fidelity into his own musical productions, Easyjack has become synonymous with clarity and cohesion. Manthom Phenace (Chicago, IL) Manthom Phenace is a heavy and funky bass music duo. Composed of friends James Secton and Diego Olague, Manthom Phenace has been a long-held staple of the Chicago underground rave scene. In addition to a unique combination of hard-hitting bass and funky cadence, the incorporation of live violin truly sets the duo apart. Kaimera (Bay Area, CA) Kaimera’s passion for musical arts began at a very young age while residing in the East Bay, California. Her journey DJing and producing music took flight once she found herself over the hill in Santa Cruz, California. She showcases a variety of genres that include deep dub, glitch hop, tribal house, electro bass jazz and more. Kaimera cultivates a healing experience of the mind, body, and soul by dynamically tapping into the energy of her audience and taking them on a layered and progressive musical journey. She is inspired by artists such as ATYYA, Desert Dwellers, Peace Sine, Dirtwire, The Widdler, Tash Sultana, and CharlestheFirst. Her goal is to continue to grow and improve her ability to translate emotion into sound. Kaimera has performed at multiple events in the Santa Cruz County and has been offered bookings throughtout Northern California. Kaimera’s most notable work to date is her mix “the dream chase,” which received over 2,000 listens within 3 days of release.
