**Songs With Friends: Becky Shaw, Alicia Stockman & Wyatt Espalin live at Eddie's Attic!**
Three friends come together to swap songs and share stories in this writer-in-round format performance, featuring three singer-songwriters who each have roots in totally different regions of the US. Becky Shaw, originally from Seattle, Washington, is still deeply tapped into her Northwest roots even though she made Decatur, Georgia her home over 3 decades ago. Alicia Stockman hails from Heber City, Utah – a town surrounded by the rugged Wasatch and Uinta Mountains. And Wyatt Espalin was raised in North Georgia, and his music is steeped in the Appalachian mountains and tradition. All three bring their unique Americana style to the stage for this night of songs among friends!

More about Becky, Alicia & Wyatt:
***Becky Shaw:***
Becky Shaw is the rare artist who's mastered the art of reinvention while staying true to herself. The Decatur-based singer-songwriter has spent decades building a career based on versatility, curiosity, and an unwavering commitment to authentic expression. After moving from Seattle to Atlanta in 1989, she immersed herself in the city's vibrant music scene, writing songs, recording and playing in bands that would help define her eclectic sound.
Today, Shaw performs primarily as a solo artist, crafting intimate performances at house concerts and venues across the country. With her second solo album due out this fall, Becky Shaw continues to prove that the most compelling artists are those who never stop exploring, never stop growing, and never stop showing up for the song.

***Alicia Stockman:***
Among the Utah mountains she calls home, Alicia Stockman draws inspiration from the landscape's rugged honesty and its deliberate pace. Influenced by Jewel, Susan Tedeschi, Grace Potter, and the Indigo Girls, her music weaves through folk, blues, and pop, with a dash of country, landing under the banner of Americana. With lyrically rich compositions, intricate guitar work, and sultry-sweet vocals, Alicia captivates audiences with her authentic storytelling and soulful delivery.
She’s been recognized across the country for her songwriting, earning an Honorable Mention in the 2025 Telluride Troubadour Contest for her song “September” and landing “Halfway to Houston” on American Songwriter’s Top 100 Songs of 2022. She’s a three-time Songwriter Serenade semi-finalist, winner of the 2017 Suzanne Millsaps Performing Songwriter competition at the Utah Arts Festival, and a 2nd place finisher at both the 2019 Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival and the 2021 Tucson Folk Festival.

***Wyatt Espalin:***
Wyatt Espalin is an award-winning singer-songwriter, fiddler, and storyteller whose music captures the raw beauty of his Appalachian roots. Raised on a rustic campground in North Georgia, Wyatt's musical journey began with his championship-winning clogging and Appalachian buck-dancing, but evolved into a passion for songwriting and performance. Wyatt weaves together the threads of his past into music that is both deeply personal and universally moving.
In 2026, he released his debut full-length album, Lies From A Lonesome Valley. These tunes reflect his introspection on identity, belonging, and the search for home. A standout voice in contemporary folk and Americana music, Wyatt Espalin has received numerous accolades, including winning the 2014 L.E.A.F. Festival New Song Singer-Songwriter Competition, and placing as a finalist in the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at Merlefest, the Rocky Mountain Folk Festival Songwriter Showcase, and the Songwriter Serenade.
