Description
7PM | Cara Lianne McLeod Cara Lianne McLeod has curated a show about love, with personal anecdotes woven through jazz, pop, blues and a touch of classical music – tender and heartwarming in one moment, funny and vulnerable in the next. Working closely with Neville Bowman (piano, vocals and arrangements), the show features jazz standards such as “Where or When” and “Beautiful Love,” duets including “You Don’t Know Me,” and original songs such as “This Love” and “Serendipity”. From intimate backyard performances to concert hall stages, McLeod has captivated audiences with her disarmingly joyful and meaningful approach to music. She has released six recordings from pop to blues, with more original material on the way. After a sold-out debut at Edmonton's Yardbird Suite in 2025, she returned with Bowman in March 2026 alongside leading Edmonton musicians. In addition to performing and recording, McLeod curates and hosts "In & Out of Love," a radio show exploring love and relationships, which streams worldwide on Big E Radio, and she continues to teach masterclasses and workshops. Bowman's career reflects versatility, beginning as a pipe organist and heavy metal enthusiast. His work now spans jazz, funk, symphonic works and musical theatre, with experience across New York, Tokyo and Canada. His multi-faceted expertise has made him a sought-after pianist, vocalist, producer and performer. The ensemble is rounded out by some of Edmonton’s top musicians. 8PM | Fuller Hull A “songwriter for the second chancers”, Fuller Hull is a country-folk singer-songwriter from Manitoba. Honest and raw, Hull invites you into his life – one song at a time. He is a “second chance” of sorts, and not your typical up-and-comer. Like a well-worn farm tool, his songs have rustic handles and sharp hooks that produce some of the finest materials his farm life has to offer. He grew up “free range” in the city and settled his family on a small farm on the Canadian prairie. He draws inspiration from the soil and sweat of farm life, his livestock (he’s a shepherd), his donkey “Delilah,” and reflections of a life fully lived. After a 20-plus-year break from music, Hull draws on a lifetime of material as an artisan songwriter – independent and following his own path on his own terms. His first album, March, offers a deeply personal debut. His second album, The Unsuspected and Unstoppable, spans life in the city, the mountains, the farm and the heart. Hull tours small towns in Manitoba and Saskatchewan and was invited to perform as a showcase artist with the Manitoba Arts Network in 2025. He has also performed in Winnipeg and internationally, including a showcase in Belfast, Northern Ireland. All patrons of all ages require a ticket.
