- About Philly Music Fest:
- Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube
Philly Music Fest was founded in 2017 by Greg and Jenn Seltzer. All shows are curated and produced by Greg. As home-grown, devoted Philadelphians, our mission is to host a unique, hyper-local music festival that benefits our community, without large corporate and governmental oversight and involvement.
We operate Philly Music Fest a bit differently than your typical music festival. By structuring Philly Music Fest as a non-profit and organizing the festival ourselves, we eliminate the need to pay producers and promoters. The result is that we pay our musicians well, host our shows only at independently-owned venues and then donate profits to local music programs educating the next great generation of Philly musicians.
We certainly love that the consequence of Philly Music Fest benefits the next generation of Philly musicians, but don’t miss the shows. Each year, we highlight and celebrate nationally recognized Philly musicians, as well as emerging local bands, in the genres of Rock, Punk, Hip Hop, Bluegrass, Jazz, Pop, Metal and R&B. We hope you’ll join the cause and celebrate the music of Philadelphia.
We believe that to sustain our vibrant music scene, we must support the next generation of Philadelphia musicians. The bands that will grace our stages in ten years are currently kids in middle and high school. Unfortunately, access to music education is not as easy as it used to be since public schools have cut music education programs.
Our community is fortunate to have several amazing music education programs, but the programs need our collective economic support. Philly Music Fest supports the following organizations: Rock To The Future | Settlement Music School | Musicopia | Play On, Philly | Beyond The Bars | Philadelphia Youth Orchestra | Key of She
About Marietta
Website | Instagram | Spotify
Marietta started in 2011 when Ethan asked Evan if he wanted to start a band. They wrote some songs together that sounded pretty good, but then one of them said, “drums would probably make this sound better”. Evan and Ethan had a party at their college house and Andrew showed up. In a fit of drunken confidence, Andrew said, “I’ll play drums for you”. A few days later, they had their first practice. Then they played a few shows, but then one of them said, “bass would probably make this sound better”. So Andrew asked his long time friend and old band mate, Ben, if he wanted to play bass. And Ben said, “I’ll play bass for you”.
And then they were a fully formed band. And then they played even more shows. And then they released two albums. And then in 2015 they broke up.
Now it’s 2025 and they decided to play a few shows.

About Euphoria Again
Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify | Apple Music
In a decade plus of songwriting as Euphoria Again, Johnny Klein has explored everything from lo-fi bedroom pop, to Nashville recorded alt-country, and even stands as one of the earliest contributors to the now exploding shoegaze revival. Beside this ever-evolving project, Klein has also split his time as hired studio guitarist, member of Philadelphia Grateful Dead cover band Friends Of Jerry, and now long-time member of Philadelphia’s moody slow-core favorites Knifeplay. Heard through all of this work, is Klein’s unique brand of earthy, spectral authenticity, a quality which has earned him a cult fanbase with Euphoria Again, and which shines powerfully on his newest record Waiting on Time to Fly(Born Losers 2024).
About Maty

With the debut release of her highly-anticipated EP, Máty is emboldening the Philadelphia scene with her impressive range - vocally, sonically, and lyrically. You could call her a DIY scene’s triple threat. A song like QUÉ PEDO will demand the recognition and I’m Tired solidify it.
Máty is a New Brunswick-born, Philadelphia-based artist. She moved to Philadelphia about four years ago with the encouragement of her longtime producer, Justin Calaycay with Mt. Moon Recording Studio.
Her new EP Standup Show hashes out the life changes Máty has both endured and decided for herself. “It’s like a hug to my early 20 year old self. It's a little homage to her because she was a mess.”
Decisions like not returning to college, getting sober, and her first major heartbreak are revived and recounted, some expressed as somber realizations (I’m Tired, Unilover) and others as cathartic releases (Ghost, T-Town).
Prepare to bang your head and clutch your hands to your heart. Standup Show is a composition of Máty’s early twenties, which she is ready to vent out and move confidently forward from.
