Runner and Bobby is a four-piece indie rock band based in Chicago, IL. With inspirations ranging from the Cocteau Twins to Black Sabbath, their new music blends dissonant guitar riffs with heavy grunge to make something both familiar and brand new. After years of making music together, the band released its most recent album Adoring a Friend to frame what they deem most important: Creating memorable live performances, connecting with fans, and making the music they love.
J.Y.N., short for Just Your Name, is a Korean American singer songwriter, producer, and multi instrumentalist based in Chicago. Drawing from a sense of atmosphere and contrast, his work blends rock, R&B, and textures into an evolving sonic identity.
Rain Garden is a queer, screamy, alt rock band born and raised in Chicago, IL. Made up of Maya Halko on guitar, Harley Reid on bass and vocals, Vincent Byas on drums and Miranda Dianovsky on vocals and guitar, the group explore sounds from post-hardcore to shoegaze to dreamy indie rock. On their latest and heaviest release yet, Aconite, the quartet leans into the art of transmuting anger, yearning and self discovery within their music. This energetic transformation is apparent during their boisterous live shows.
Presented by Sleeping Village.
