The Living Space ft. Funsho with Hameed Idowu, Tony Thames & Aden Simone
Funsho is a singer, songwriter, and producer blending alternative R&B with Afro‑inspired rhythms rooted in his Nigerian heritage. After earning national recognition on NBC’s The Voice (Season 15), with praise from Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, and Mariah Carey, he has continued to carve out a lane defined by rich tone, emotional depth, and genre‑bending creativity.
Fresh off his LP From the Mind of Man, Funsho now channels his vision into The Living Space, a concert series he created to spotlight bold artistry and emerging talent. Each installment pushes the boundaries of contemporary sound and offers an intimate, immersive experience for listeners who crave music with soul, intention, and edge.

Hameed Idowu, a Nigerian-American singer, rapper and songwriter, is redefining music by blending the vibrant rhythms of Afrobeats with modern alternative trap and pop. Born in Nigeria and relocating to the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area 20 years ago, Hameed sees music and life as inseparable. His experiences spanning the challenges of his Nigerian roots, the perceived glamour of a musician’s life in the U.S., and the emotional rollercoaster of relationships fuel his creative output. “I want my music to inspire and touch someone the way music moves me,” he says.
As a pioneer in merging Afrobeats with trap and pop, Hameed has diversified the American music scene with his viral 2016 single Wazy and a catalog of five EPs. His projects Metanoia I & II explore transforming mindsets for the better, while Middle Ground reflects the tension of navigating dual cultures and striving for success. His Before I Dive In series, including the 2024 release BIDII, delves into letting go of burdens, friends, habits, or grudges to embrace his destined path. The final chapter of this trilogy, slated for 2026, may mark his last EP unless major and or industry support propels him forward.
Drawing inspiration from icons like Sunny Ade, 2Face, Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Drake, and Meek Mill and many more Hameed views music as a universal language capable of uniting people across divides. While promoting BIDII, he’s crafting his next release but remains candid about his future. Without significant backing, he may redirect his energy from music projects to other avenues of positive impact, though his love for creating music will endure through singles.
Hameed’s mission is clear. Use his art to bring people together and move the world toward a better place. With his unique sound and heartfelt storytelling, he’s a rising force in music’s evolving landscape.

Aden Simone is an alternative R&B artist whose sound blends soulful warmth, atmospheric production, and emotionally sharp storytelling. Influenced by voices like Donnell Jones, Miguel, SZA, and Solange, she crafts music that feels intimate, textured, and deeply human. Her debut EP Nightpill introduced her lush harmonic style, and she has continued to build momentum with standout singles, collaborations, and creative visual content. Recognized by artists like Raheem DeVaughn and supported by tastemakers including Miss Milan, Aden brings a distinct perspective shaped by her neurodivergent creative process, offering listeners a world that is honest, immersive, and impossible to forget.
