Over the past 10 years, the production has established itself as a "cult" institution, celebrated for its genre-defying blend of rock 'n' roll, burlesque, drag, and circus arts. Since the show’s inception in 2015, Getzell has been the engine behind its eclectic, high-energy sound, leading The Darling Misfits through everything from haunting rock ballads to raucous, theatrical medleys.
