It feels a little surreal to say this, but this September will mark 10 years since the release of our debut album, Love Is Not Enough. I’ve tried for a while to gather and articulate my thoughts on what that album means to me, or even speak for the band more broadly, but it’s just impossible to quantify. As individuals, and as a collective, our lives have changed in innumerable ways since its release - and many of the highest points we’ve experienced have been a direct result of that event. The community that we’ve found, the people that we’ve met and formed meaningful, lasting relationships with, the places we’ve been and stages we’ve played; all of that stems from the release of Love Is Not Enough. We’re as proud of it as we are grateful for it, and neither feeling could ever be accurately conveyed in words. So, now that we’ve concluded our celebrations for How To Disappear, we’re incredibly happy to announce that this Autumn we’ll be playing a select number of shows in celebration of Love Is Not Enough’s 10 year anniversary. Each night we’ll be playing the record in full, plus a selection of other songs - some of which you’re yet to hear. Joining us with be New York’s very own Downswing, who’ll be making their first trip to Europe for the tour. In addition to that, the UK shows of the tour are being brought to you in partnership with Rise Above Cancer, and we’re proud to announce that £1 of each ticket sold will be donated to their work. They’ll also be making an appearance in Cardiff, so you can learn more about what they do directly, and learn about other ways you can support the cause. Presented by Hassle Records.
