They produced a couple of videos, recorded a catchy tune for Cartoon Network, and had their songs included in the soundtracks of television shows. Then, they took a gigantic break. In 2018, Pain frontman Dan Lord and guitarist Adam Guthrie, assembled veteran band mates and brilliant new talent to create Salvo, with new music sure to please. Salvo’s music has the kind of melodic style, catchy beats, dynamic instrumentation, and evocative lyrics that Pain always delivered, but with a new maturity and mastery intended to leave listeners delighted. After years of albums, shows, and the joy of performing songs from the Pain catalog, Salvo has decided to hang it up. Salvo’s final performance will be July 19th, 2026 at Saturn in Birmingham.
