Collectivity & Friends bring Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here to The Chapel SF. The complete album, performed front to back, beneath a custom laser and lighting design built specifically for this show.
Every note, every texture, every silence, with a surprise or two. Bandleader and guitarist Ben Misterka leads a nine-piece ensemble of Bay Area heavyweights featuring Otis McDonald, Juniper Waller (Gold Souls), Jimmy Leslie (Spirit Hustler), Uriah Duffy (Whitesnake), and more — musicians who have shared stages with Larry Graham, Dumpstaphunk, Fantastic Negrito, and beyond.
Every arrangement crafted with obsessive attention to detail by a band that has spent years earning its place as a Bay Area institution.
After the album the night keeps going, featuring more Pink Floyd and original music from Collectivity. Special guests Blü Egyptian open the night.
What began as a tribute to the 50th anniversary, performed in full on the Playa at Burning Man, is now coming home to San Francisco.
“Misterka’s inventive interpretation of the intro to the classic title track is an inspiration”- Guitar Player Magazine
What started as four students in Chico, CA jamming together in the midst of a pandemic quickly transformed into the touring powerhouse known as Blü Egyptian. This no-holds-barred jamband has ingrained themselves in the West Coast scene with their upbeat signature blend of Rock, Funk, Reggae, Bluegrass, and Electronica, creating unique segues from catchy original tunes to timeless covers. By playing over 500 shows in just five years, Blü Egyptian has caught the attention of major festivals and national touring acts, propelling them into renowned venues across the coast. Just like the world around us, each show is constantly evolving and the only way to truly experience it is live in person!
