Description
Nitefreak brings HiNDE, his event series and global movement, to Brooklyn for a rare New York appearance at 99 Scott. Rooted in Zimbabwe and built from the ground up, HiNDE has grown from a local platform in Bulawayo into an international presence, with showcases across Harare, Miami Music Week, Mauritius, and the United States. The project reflects a focus on Afro house and Afro Tech, connecting artists, communities, and audiences through a shared sound.
At the center of it is Nitefreak, who began producing in 2009 and has steadily developed a global following. His releases on Deep Root Records, Spinnin Deep, Higher Ground, and Insomniac have earned support from Black Coffee, Diplo, Shimza, and Keinemusik, while his catalog has reached millions of streams and multiple Beatport chart placements. Tracks like Savior, Gorah, and Kamili have become staples across clubs and radio, with plays on BBC Radio 1 and beyond. His record Bolingo Nanga also reached a wider audience through its inclusion in the Francis Ngannou documentary.
This night centers on HiNDE’s vision, bringing its sound into one of Brooklyn’s leading warehouse spaces. Expect an extended set from Nitefreak alongside a deeper look into the movement he continues to build across continents.
Presented by Gray Area.
