Featuring a stellar lineup of Australian blues and roots talent — Jeff Lang & Danny McKenna, Sammy Owen Blues Band, Anna Scionti and Otis Namrell Band — this will be a powerful night of live music celebrating the spirit of one of Australia’s most loved blues festivals. For more than 25 years, the Winter Blues Festival has transformed the twin towns of Echuca–Moama into a buzzing hub of live music each July, with venues across the historic river port coming alive with the sounds of Australia’s finest blues and roots artists. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and incredible live performances, the festival has become a winter pilgrimage for music lovers from across the country. Melbourne has long been one of Australia’s great blues cities, with a deep pool of musicians and passionate audiences who have helped keep the genre alive. Over the years, the Winter Blues Festival has proudly celebrated that connection, regularly featuring many of Melbourne’s most respected blues artists as part of its program. This special launch show offers a preview of what’s  to come in July, while also helping support the festival behind the scenes. All profits from the evening will go towards supporting the volunteer committee who work year-round to deliver the Winter Blues Festival.
