Drawing from the internet-born future beats movement, he weaves together elements of bass, breaks, club, and global music into a cohesive and dynamic palette. His sets guide listeners through dense, eclectic rhythms and vast, synth-driven soundscapes. Creator of the Sutura collective, day astro has shared the stage with acclaimed artists such as RL Grime, Yung Singh, Bianca Oblivion, Byron Yeates, and Jon Casey, continually pushing boundaries while staying rooted in underground culture. dotnine is a Brooklyn-based producer and DJ with deep roots in the online beats scene. With influences of footwork, breaks, and IDM, dotnine's production carries a commitment to pushing the textural envelope and is distincly expressive.
