w/ Punchus (Primus tribute) & Phil Ajjarapu
Jellyfish only made two albums. They never got the recognition they deserved. And Spilt Milk — their lush, orchestral, genre-defying 1993 masterpiece — hasn’t been performed live in over three decades.
Until now.
THE LOVETARIANS are a Portland-based five-piece with one mission: to bring Spilt Milk back to life, live on stage, performed front to back, exactly as it was meant to be heard. Note-perfect. Obsessive. Faithful to the point of irrationality. If you’ve spent the last 30 years wondering what it would feel like to hear “Joining a Fan Club,” “New Mistake,” or “He’s My Best Friend” in a room full of people who feel exactly the same way — this is the show you’ve been waiting for.
PUNCHUS brings the heavy. Portland’s premiere Primus tribute captures the slithering bass grooves, psychedelic weirdness, and sheer power of one of rock’s most singular bands. Les Claypool’s world is strange and wonderful — Punchus will drag you back in.
PHIL AJJARAPU opens the night with something rare: original music that feels like it was built in a lost golden era of songwriting. A veteran multi-instrumentalist whose debut album was produced by Posies frontman Ken Stringfellow, Ajjarapu plays power pop that pulls at the chest — voice, guitar, keyboard, and songs that cut deep.
