Showcasing new (and old) material with a stripped-down, intimate approach, she hopes to take you and her music even further back to her roots in rural Georgia as she leans farther into southern folk. Incorporating mandolin, pedal steel, and a little bit of blues, she’ll be surrounded by incredible accompaniment while she hybrid picks on a steel-string guitar. With critical transparency, she holds no punches, illustrating how she was raised by a troupe of trailblazing women in a pasture and internal revelations about how her unique journey in music landed her exactly where she was meant to be. Leaning on the writing styles of Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon, the vulnerability of Jeff Buckley and Fiona Apple, and the genre-bending of a young songwriter willing to accept her songs however they choose to present themselves, she takes up some serious space for herself and aims to make her audience feel like they’ve known her their whole life.
