Sam Lachow is a Seattle-based producer, rapper, songwriter, and visual director known for blending hip-hop with indie, alternative, and DIY aesthetics.
After independently producing his debut project Brand New Bike in 2011, Sam built a grassroots following that led to his 2014 album Huckleberry debuting at #5 on the iTunes Hip-Hop charts and the viral success of 80 Bars, which surpassed a million plays across platforms.
He went on to become the first local headliner to sell out Seattle’s 1,000-capacity Neptune Theater and has since toured nationally while continuing to evolve his sound and visual world.
In recent years, Sam has entered a prolific independent era with the releases of Heavy Hearts (2023), Octopus (2024), and The Left Handed Bandit (2024) — projects that expand his genre-blurring style while staying rooted in sharp songwriting and self-directed creative vision.
Known for pairing immersive visuals with high-energy live shows, Sam continues to build a dedicated audience both online and on the road.
He currently lives in Seattle with his dog Devin.
