Description
FERRARI PARTY
Ferrari Party are a fast, red and ferocious collective from Sydney that fuse funk, disco, jazz, hip hop and soul into a high-voltage live show that feels like a celebration and a riot at the same time. Armed with a full horn section, driving rhythm, sweat-soaked vocals and a crowd that behaves more like a pit crew than an audience, Ferrari Party turn every stage into an ignition point. This isn’t background music — it’s a takeover. The band have torn through stages across Australia, with standout appearances at Strawberry Fields, Dragon Dreaming, Jazz Doof III, Yuki Fest Bloomfield, and Weasel Stock, earning a reputation for turning festival dance floors into one big party and inclusive celebration.
CINTA
CINTA is a powerhouse of modern soul, channelling raw emotion and storytelling through her music. A diva, schooled in the blues, she leads her band with an intensity and authenticity that have become staples in Sydney's music scene. CINTA's voice is the centrepiece—sultry, commanding, and evocative. Her music isn’t just about the rhythm and melody; it’s a journey into the human experience. Inspired by the writings of Lauryn, Aretha, Erykah and Sade to name a few, she seamlessly merges the old-school vibe of soul legends with a fresh, modern edge, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and groundbreaking. Whether in intimate venues or at major festivals, her presence on stage is undeniable, the band create a rich, sonic tapestry that allows CINTA's storytelling to shine. At the core of CINTA's music is a commitment to authenticity. She writes with vulnerability, drawing from personal experiences and the complex emotions that accompany relationships. Her band provides the foundation for her stories, pushing and pulling her vocals to convey the depth of her narratives. Her music could be seen as a testament to the power of soulful storytelling, bridging the past and present in a way that feels both fresh and timeless. As she continues to perform and record, CINTA remains a dynamic presence in the soul and R&B scene, poised to leave a lasting impact on Australian contemporary music.
HAZTET
Warrane/Sydney, based spiritual jazz / improvised groove collective HAZTET explore a cosmic vastitude of dense sonic realms, guided continuously by the rich, bountiful osmosis of improvised collaborative experimentation. Profoundly inspired by the music of luminaries Mulatu Astatke, Pharoah Sanders, Joe Henderson and John Coltrane as well as oz legends Barney McAll, Julien Wilson, Close Counters and 30/70, audiences can expect vibrant jazz harmony, percussion driven Afro-infused dance grooves and layered ambient SFX soundscapes.
HAZTET have amalgamated a notable record of live performances since their inception in Oct 2022. Alongside prestigious Australian jazz acts such as GODTET, The Strides, Manfredo Lament, The Glider, Ella Haber and Ruby Jackson amongst others. The collective have strongly established themselves as valued contributors to the fast expanding Eora nation / inner west underground ‘JAZZ DOOF’ culture.
We acknowledge that this event is held on the stolen lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded.
