Michael Palascak: Stand-Up Comedy Showcase
Michael Palascak is a comedian who grew up in Indiana and now lives in Los Angeles. He’s made national television appearances on both The Late Late Show with James Corden and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in the same year, and his stand-up has racked up over one million views on YouTube.
His impressive resume also includes appearances on A Little Late with Lilly Singh, The Tonight Show, Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and Conan. He’s also been featured in a Comedy Central Presents half-hour special and was a Top 5 finalist on Last Comic Standing, where one judge noted, “My first impression of Michael was a great likability. This is a guy that could star in a sitcom.”
That natural likability is what sets Palascak apart — allowing him to connect with audiences in a genuine way while delivering sharp, personal material that lands big laughs.
Continuing to write and perform consistently, Michael recently released a new album, The Internet Live, through 800 Pound Gorilla Records, along with a stand-up special, 1984, available on the Dry Bar Comedy.
Praised by critics like The Chicago Reader as “an antidote to the sort of unbridled cynicism that pervades much of contemporary stand-up,” Michael continues to showcase his upbeat perspective in projects like The Bright Side, a National Lampoon series where he puts a positive spin on negative topics.
With a mix of optimism, relatability, and clever storytelling, Michael Palascak delivers a comedy experience that feels both refreshing and unforgettable.

The Black Buzzard at Oskar Blues Denver is a music venue born out of a drink and a conversation about the old Denver music scene. Created by Kellner Schoenke at their Longmont restaurant, The Black Buzzard drink fused bacon-infused bourbon and ten fidy imperial stout. Chef and Oskar Blues fooderies partner, Jason Rogers, shared a sip with Kellner, and they realized they had both frequented the same closed blues bar on 16th and Market Street, Brendan's. Years later, Brendan's became available, and it seemed like the perfect time to put some music back into the heart of LoDo. They named the venue after the drink that started it all. Today, located blocks away from Coors Field and Union Station, The Black Buzzard at Oskar Blues Denver hosts buzz-worthy musicians of all genres from Denver and beyond.
