Scaling the liminal nexus of UK club futurism with tempoless inhibitions and adventurous textures in sound, Piezo explores the kinetic infinites of dance music’s vast permutations.
Luca Mucci's output as Piezo revels in the hi-def synthetics of sound sculpting, pirouetting through off-kilter frameworks of total dance crud in a remarkable multiplicity of psychedelic variations.
Cast from the embers of dubstep’s heyday and its UK bass counterpart experienced from his native home of Milan, he soon relocated to Bristol enjoying a temporary immersive spell in the city’s legendary sound system culture and vibrant alternative music community.
Releases on seminal British labels Idle Hands, Swamp81 and Facta & K-Lone's Wisdom Teeth followed, plus a turn for Orson's Version imprint based out of Berlin.
Ansia was founded by Piezo in the midst of this, a label acting as his creative appendage for wild dancefloor tools by himself and fellow club deviants characterised by a mischievous attitude and wry humour to both composition and sound design.
It is currently 8 releases deep, featuring a mix of various artist compilations and solo turns from Luca himself, including 2023’s ‘Odd Hooks’ EP.
Following that, he makes an exciting debut for kindred dance futurists Nervous Horizon with the ‘Cyclic Wavez’ EP.
Remixes and V/A contributions inbetween continue a prolific release schedule.
2020 saw the release of Piezo’s debut album ‘Perdu’ on cult Milanese label Hundebiss, run by PAN affiliate STILL.
His most substantial work to date, he channelled his myriad of influences into a versatile suite of tracks traversing technoid UK bass, hypnotic 4th-world textures and heavy sound-design.
That same year saw Luca become a participant in the SHAPE roster, a Creative Europe-supported platform for innovative music and audiovisual art, while he also separately collaborated with Milanese artist duo Invernomuto on their BlackMed multimedia project.
Piezo weighs all of these influences and experiences together with a ferocious appetite for perc-y wrigglers in his celebrated DJ sets and mixes.
Applying his limitless ideology to open ended dancefloor narratives, he traverses quite wild bpms and styles with a remarkable flair best exemplified in sets at Terraforma Festival and Nowadays NYC, and mixes for Crack Magazine, Animalia and DjMag.

ma sha
Ma Sha is a New York-based producer and DJ who has been active in the scene since 2017 when she co-founded event series - now a NYC staple - Kindergarten. Since then, she established a radio show which alongside the local Kindergarten crew, holds a monthly residency on The Lot Radio, as well as a record label that has won “Best Breakthrough Label” at the 2022 DJ Mag North America Awards. Focusing on cosmic club workouts with wigged-out rhythmic structures, the label “has become an essential outpost for hard-to-define, easy-to-dance-to club music in just two short years” [DJ Mag]; presenting “twisty, rowdy and unpredictable club music rooted in techno from both sides of the Atlantic” [Resident Advisor].
Apart from running Kindergarten Records, Ma Sha is currently focusing on her solo productions to present her take on experimental high-voltage dance music with a debut release coming out soon. However, Ma Sha is not a novice within the realm of production; as she has been active as half of the band Sha Ru who have been on the radar since their debut EP on Sorry Records in 2019, followed by releases on Infinite Machine, Pressure Dome, Progressive Future, Shubzin, Inveterate and of course, Kindergarten Records.
Besides running the label, producing and performing domestically and internationally, Ma Sha is also a co-founder of Hone.Social, a free DJing workshop initiative providing a place to learn and practice within a casual and supportive environment.

sobolik
Sobolik is a DJ, producer, musician and occasional writer born in the Hudson Valley, New York and currently based in Queens. They make colorful, drum-focused music in an array of different styles, appearing on key modern bass outposts like London’s All Centre and CloudCore, Turin’s early reflex, Amsterdam’s Flippen Disks, DC’s 3024, and Dublin’s Woozy. Sobolik's output reacts to a broad palette of references within both North American and UK club music. As a member of the Antidote and Kindergarten collectives, they work to connect these dots among like-minded artists in the Brooklyn rave ecosystem. They currently hold a Lot Radio residency with the Kindergarten crew and co-organize Antidote, a queer day rave whose previous bookings include DJ Voices, Russell E.L. Butler, Sister Zo, and Ron Like Hell.
