Description
Canadian songwriter Bahamas returns with new music and the signature warmth that has made the project one of the most beloved voices in modern folk and indie rock. Led by Afie Jurvanen, Bahamas blends laid-back grooves, thoughtful lyricism, and effortless guitar work into songs that feel both intimate and timeless.
After nearly two decades as a fixture in the Toronto music scene—collaborating with artists like Feist, The Weather Station, and Kathleen Edwards—Jurvanen relocated with his family to the quiet coastline of Nova Scotia. The slower pace and wide-open surroundings helped inspire his newest work, My Second Last Album, a deeply personal and refreshingly free-spirited record.
Recorded in a small backyard studio near the Atlantic Ocean with producer Joshua Van Tassel, the album captures a creative spark that feels loose, playful, and completely unfiltered. From breezy indie pop and country-funk grooves to soulful ballads and reflective folk, the songs showcase Jurvanen’s signature honesty and sharp wit.
Live, Bahamas transforms these songs into a warm, immersive experienceequal parts musicianship, storytelling, and effortless charm. Whether you’ve been following since Pink Strat or discovering the project for the first time, this is your chance to see one of Canada’s most quietly brilliant songwriters in his element.
Don’t miss Bahamas live an evening of soulful melodies, rich songwriting, and music that feels as open and expansive as the ocean that inspired it.
