**Mar Vilaseca live at Eddie's Attic!**
Internationally acclaimed vocalist Mar Vilaseca makes her Atlanta debut at Eddie’s Attic on Wednesday, April 29 at 9PM for an unforgettable night of music and fellowship. She’ll be joined by Kenny Banks Jr. (piano), Francisco Lora (bass), and Larry Wilson (drums).
Born in Barcelona in 1998, Vilaseca grew up immersed in music and was classically trained in piano and harmony at the Conservatorio del Liceo before turning her focus to jazz. She began performing professionally at 14 and went on to earn her undergraduate degree in Jazz Voice from the Escuela Superior de Música de Catalunya. After releasing her debut album Find The Way in 2020 — featuring all original compositions — she moved to New York to pursue her Master of Music in Jazz Studies at The Juilliard School, studying with Wynton Marsalis and other renowned educators, and graduating in 2022 with the JCAF Award.
Vilaseca has collaborated with artists including Hermeto Pascoal and Emmet Cohen, performed at international festivals across Spain, China, and Colombia, and appeared at premier U.S. jazz venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center and Birdland. Now based in the United States, she continues to build an exciting international career marked by technical brilliance, warmth, and a deep love for the tradition of jazz.
Presented by Eddie's Attic.
This is an all ages event.
