**Tom Rush live at Eddie's Attic!**
Tom Rush is a gifted musician and performer whose shows are a musical celebration — a journey into what music has been, can be, and will become. His distinctive guitar style, wry humor, and warm, expressive voice have made him both a legend and a lure to audiences around the world, blending rib-aching storytelling, sweet melancholy ballads, and gritty blues.
Rush’s impact on American music has been profound. He helped shape the folk revival of the ’60s and influenced generations of artists. As James Taylor told Rolling Stone, “Tom was not only one of my early heroes, but also one of my main influences.” Garth Brooks has likewise cited Rush among his top influences. He introduced early work by Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, and James Taylor to wider audiences, and through his Club 47® concerts has continued to champion emerging artists.
Signed to Elektra in 1965, Rush released three albums for the label, culminating in The Circle Game, which Rolling Stone credited with ushering in the singer-songwriter era. After decades of touring and recording, he continues to write and perform, his voice richer, his music blending traditional and modern influences — doing what he has always done best: writing and playing … passionately, tenderly … knitting together the musical traditions and talents of our times.
Presented by Eddie's Attic.
This is an all ages event.
