They draw inspiration from DJ sets, dusty synth plugins, over consumption, near misses, marketing teams, old technologies and books. GIFTHORSE gallop in from London Town with their self-proclaimed 'frazzled English pop', fizzing with guitars and keyboards and Naomi Mann's perkily bubblesome vocals; THE YOUTH PLAY meanwhile mix an ex-environmental scientist from Mexico City with British bandmates to create a brooding sound which explores how people strive to find joy throughout times of desperation and hopelessness.
