Formed in December 2024 by three longtime friends, the group immediately made their mark with the release of their self-titled debut EP that same month. Their sound blends atmospheric guitars, heartfelt lyricism, and dynamic energy—creating music that resonates deeply with listeners. Following the EP, the band has continued to release multiple singles and build a loyal, steadily growing fan base across streaming platforms. Magenta Wave After forming in the city of Bellingham in 2022, the group quickly progressed from running their own house-shows to performing at established local venues such as The Wild Buffalo and the Blue Room. Renowned for emotionally charged vocal melodies and evocative guitar solos, the band’s sound continues to develop as they write relentlessly in the garage of their shared home. Relocating to Seattle in the fall of 2023, the group hit the ground running, and now have local appearances at Neumos, Capitol Hill Block Party, and Bite of Seattle under their belt. With the completion of a 12-show inaugural West Coast headlining tour earlier this spring, the group is looking to solidify their sound on the national radar. Since the release of their debut single early 2024, the band has amassed over 900,000 streams from just seven songs. Created by Kellner Schoenke at their Longmont restaurant, The Black Buzzard drink fused bacon-infused bourbon and ten fidy imperial stout. Chef and Oskar Blues fooderies partner, Jason Rogers, shared a sip with Kellner, and they realized they had both frequented the same closed blues bar on 16th and Market Street, Brendan's. Years later, Brendan's became available, and it seemed like the perfect time to put some music back into the heart of LoDo. They named the venue after the drink that started it all. Today, located blocks away from Coors Field and Union Station, The Black Buzzard at Oskar Blues Denver hosts buzz-worthy musicians of all genres from Denver and beyond.
